• Click on the WiFi icon found in the upper right corner of your screen in the Menu Bar.

  • Select -Start Here- SMHS RamNet WiFi.

  • Open the web browser Safari.
  • Enter smra.ms/wifi and press Return.


  • Your browser will redirect you to the SM RamNet WiFi portal (shown below).
    • If you want to review the policy, click "Electronic Device Use Policy"
    • Check "I agree to the Electronic Device Use Policy"
    • Click "Start"

  • Select "SM Coaches"

  • Your browser will be redirected to the following screen. Complete the following steps:
    • Select "Request Network Access"
    • Type your First and Last Name
    • Type your sport as the "Reason"
    • Select "Notify Via TXT Message"
    • Select "United States" as the Country -- Note, you will need to scroll down to the bottom
    • Input your cell phone number - including area code
    • Click "Send"
      • Your request will be sent to SM's IT Director. Please note, while most requests are granted within minutes, it could take a bit longer if the request is outside normal school hours
    • Once you receive the verification code on your phone, click "Continue"
      • Note - If you have left the screen, please retype smra.ms/wifi into your browser and press Return/Enter

  • Next, you will see the following screen.
  • Select Profile for Mac OS, this will download a file to your Downloads folder, click Allow to proceed.

  • Open System Preferences by clicking the Apple  icon in the upper left corner of your screen.
  • Click on Profiles. (lower right corner)
  • Click on SMHS Staff in the left column, then click the Install button in the upper right corner.
  • Follow the prompts to install, enter your computer's username and password, when asked.

  • You may need to manually switch over to the RamNet Staff network. Click the WiFi icon in the upper right and select RamNet Staff.

  • You are now connected to WiFi.  This connection applies to only one device, you will need to repeat these steps with additional devices.
