Occasionally, you may be blocked from seeing a student's screen. This can be for a few reasons.

  • The iPad may have disconnected from the WiFi signal
  • The iPad has bluetooth turned off
  • The iPad has VPN turned on
  • The iPad may have become disconnected from your class somehow
  • The iPad has the settings under "Allow Teacher To" marked as "Ask" or "Never"


Troubleshooting Options

  • Ensure the WiFi is connected
  • Ensure Bluetooth is on
  • Ensure the VPN is off
  • Ensure the iPad has the settings under "Allow Teacher To" marked as "Always"
  • Try putting the device on Flight Mode for 10 seconds, then turn Flight Mode off
  • Restart the device 
  • Remove the student from the class, then re-add them 


*reminder: even if you cannot see a student's screen, a log of where the student went and for long is recorded; you can access that report when you end your class (i.e. you must tap "more" - the three dots with a circle around it - then tap "End Class". Take screenshots of the information you want to keep because you cannot download nor access the report once you close the app.
