QUESTION: I set up an assignment using Google Doc Integration and now I can't see a student's doc because when I click on their doc, all I see is "Access Denied". What does that mean and how do I fix it?
ANSWER: This can happen if a student tries to access the doc with their personal Google Account instead of their SMHS Google Account.
Advise the student to access the doc again by going through the Schoology app on their iPad; doing so should prompt them to reconnect Schoology to their SMHS Google Drive. If that poses an issue still, advise the student to access Schoology via Safari - they'll need to tap on the Schoology icon in the Parent/Student Portal on our school's website, or simply type "smhs.schoology.com" in the browser bar.
