Final Exam Gradebook Set-Up → “E1” & "E2"

There are two things to know regarding setting up your gradebook for Final Exams: you…

  1. must have the Grading Term “E1" (for Semester 1 Final) and "E2" (Semester 2 Final) set to “Category Weighting” at 100% in “Traditional Grade Calculations” (found in the SETTINGS tab - the gear icon/button bottom left). You’ll need to create a separate “Final Exam” Grading Category if you haven’t done so already.

  2. must ensure your final exam has a due date in the PowerTeacherPro gradebook that falls within the correct date range; list the date on which the final was given to the class.

Once the Grading Term “E1 or E2” is set up correctly (letter A above), you can add your final exams to the gradebook by simply adding an assignment like you normally would, giving it a due date that falls within the Final Exam date range, and assigning it to your Final Exam grading category.
