1. Please sign into Schoology by opening any browser
2. The website URL is smhs.schoology.com
3. Please sign in with your Saint Mary’s High School email address and password.
4. Once you are signed in to the website, please click on groups located at the top of the website on the left side of the page.
5. Click My Groups on the right side of the web page
6. The website will open a new page, and then click create group on the right side of the page located under Manage Groups.
7. A text box will open allowing you to name the group, provide a description, privacy and access settings. You will also need to select a category.
8. Once all the necessary information is completed click Create.
9. The page will redirect to the new group recently created.
10. There are two ways to add students to the group
a. The first way is to click on Members located on the left side of the pane then click add members. You can search for the students or scroll through the list of students. Once you have added your members, click on the small box that states Add members without invite then click add members. You will see a list of your current members.
b. The second way is to provide the access code highlighted in green on the left side of the web page under Resources. This access code will be given to the students. They will need to sign into Schoology and use the access code to join the group.
11. Congratulations you have created your personal group within Schoology
